The differential diagnosis for mediastinal tumors is broad and includes neurogenic tumor, germ cell tumor, thymoma,
lymphoma, sarcoma, metastasis and more. We report a patient with a dramatic presentation of neuroblastoma in the mediastinal, a relatively uncommon location for this tumor in patient of any age and particularly in the age group of our patient. The considerable worst prognosis for older patients with neuroblastoma, a high index of suspicion is necessary to avoid unnecessary delays in the diagnosis. Here we describe the imaging and laboratory findings of mediastinal neuroblastoma.
