Microbial Forensics as a Tool for Investigating and Responding to Bioterrorism

Bioterrorism is that the intentional dissemination of bio-warfare agents in an exceedingly population to cause unhealthiness or death. Microorganism forensics plays an important role within the investigation of bio-terror attacks. This is often a replacement field of rhetorical science that's still within the early stages of growth and faces Brobdingnagian theoretical and moral obstacles. There’s a profound concern with current biotechnological developments that bacterium and viruses could also be genetically designed to change them as biological weapons. Act of terrorism, like alternative nuclear weapons, has the potential to cause humanitarian disasters. This paper summarizes completely different detection strategies of bio-warfare agents besides light the varied phases of bioterror attacks through the fact-finding lens of microorganism forensics.
