Vasoactive Agents

The vasoactive agents are drugs that are either used for increasing the heart rate or decreasing the heart rate. This is achieved by vasodilation and vasoconstriction. This helps in keeping the hemodynamics under control. For example: histamine, bradykinin, angiotensin etc.
