This abstract provides an overview of the key aspects related to adolescent obesity, including its prevalence, contributing factors, health consequences, and intervention strategies. Adolescent obesity refers to the excessive accumulation of body fat during the developmental stage of adolescence. The prevalence of obesity among adolescents has been steadily increasing worldwide, reaching alarming levels in recent years. Various factors contribute to the development of adolescent obesity, including genetic predisposition, sedentary lifestyle, unhealthy dietary habits, socioeconomic factors, and psychosocial influences.
